Hilltop Cider Sangria

Hilltop Orchard’s own John Vittori shared this recipe…it was a hit at his daughter’s wedding! We’re offering you large crowd and small group recipes…because one isn’t enough.

For a Holiday Crowd

Ingredients:

A deep cider hued Berkshire Cider Sangria with the sun shining on a coup glass, glass pitcher, and a bottle of Hilltop Orchard's Furnace Brook Winery Chardonnay

1 bottle dry white wine

6 cups apple cider

1 cup vodka

6 tablespoons caramel syrup

½ cup club soda

For Small Gathering

Ingredients:

25 oz dry white wine

48 oz apple cider

8 oz vodka

4 oz club soda

Hilltop Orchard’s own John Vittori shared this recipe…it was a hit at his daughter’s wedding!

Mix the dry white wine (we used our own Furnace Brook Winery Chardonnay), apple cider (Hilltop Orchard cider, of course!), vodka, caramel syrup (you’ll find this at the grocery store in the coffee isle – or make your own), and club soda. Give it a stir and serve. You can also mix all the ingredients but the club soda and add that to individuals glasses as you serve. Drop in diced apple or garnish with an apple slice.
